A story about "Like I can" by Sam Smith.

Love can do anything

It was approximately 7am at a university in New York City, it was the beginning of the month, the beginning of the week, it was the perfect day. Daniel would begin to study music and arts at this university, a place where he would only go to study but in the end he would fall in love. As expected, Daniel on his first day would be a little lost and could not find his classroom, it was horrible, and as fate would have it, Camila, an international business student appeared and helped him find his classroom. When Daniel saw her for the first time, he fell in love with her charisma, basically for him she was beautiful; finally Daniel started his class, and got new friends, he finished his first day at the university and Daniel was happy and looking forward to the next day.

The next day when he arrived at the university he met Camila again, he greeted her and thanked her for helping him the day before. When Daniel and his classmates had a break they decided to talk about love, and Daniel tells them that he was in love with Camila, to which his friends just look at him funny and call him crazy. Daniel, not knowing why, asks them, and they put it in context. His friends tell him "Camila is the most beautiful girl in this university, her parents are owners of one of the most important companies in the city, she is a millionaire, and she doesn't talk to strangers, much less someone like you, a simple scholarship student", Daniel after listening to his friends, was very sad and only wondered if Camila was really like that, because she was very politely to him.

As our parents say for love we are capable of doing anything, and Daniel felt that he could fall in love with Camila, she was the love of his life, regardless of the differences between them he decided to start falling in love with her, but he did not know how to make her notice him. In music class Daniel has an assignment to create a love song, and Daniel quickly takes Camila as his inspiration and starts composing.

It was about a month where Camilo saw, analyzed and searched for information about Camila for his song, and it was here where he lost all his hopes. Daniel asked Camila's close friends for information about her, he also found her social networks and verified what his friends told him, that Camila was a woman who was not for him because she was a millionaire and he was poor.

There were about two weeks left to deliver the song and it was Daniel's best friend who, after seeing him sadly, asked him why he was like that, and Daniel told him everything about Camila.His friend Tomas has the feeling that in reality Camila is a good girl for Daniel, and decides to motivate Daniel to continue with his song and to have hope again to make Camila fall in love, but this time a little more risky. Tomas tells Daniel "many times people are not as they seem, they can be better or worse, the only way to check it out is to meet them personally, stop asking her friends and looking for information about her; invite her on a date, talk to her, get to know her yourself, and you will realize if you can have a hope with her". Daniel, very motivated after Tomas' words, decides the next day to ask Camila out on a date.

At first he thought about telling her face to face to go on a date, but fear got the better of Daniel, so he remembered that Camila gave him her phone number on the first day of school in case he needed her for anything, and Daniel, full of courage, sent her the following message: "Hi, how are you? I hope you are very well, I don't know if you remember me but I'm Daniel, the new student that you helped to find the classroom on the first day of classes, I'm sending you this message to invite you to go out tonight, you tell me if you can or you are too busy". With fear and fear of having no answer Daniel sends the message and it was 4 hours later that Camila answers and says "hello Daniel, of course I remember you as I would forget about you, about the date of course I accept, tell me what time and where to meet you". Daniel after reading that message just smiled and jumped with happiness, he replied to the message and finally told her the time and place to meet.

It was at 8 o'clock at McDonald's where Daniel and Camila saw each other for the first time, not just as college friends but as something more. They ate, they walked, they had fun, they played, they talked, they took pictures, it was 5 hours together that passed slowly where they got to know each other too much, and it was 5 hours where Daniel fell more in love and regained the joy to finish his song.

After the departure, Daniel and Camila's relationship improved a lot, they talked every day, had lunch together and did not separate from each other. Then came the day of the delivery and Daniel presented his song, his classmates and teacher were delighted and Daniel was happy for having had a good grade, which would improve his grades academically. One of his college friends Jorge who was also Camila's friend and knew what was going on between the two of them, recorded while Daniel played and sang his song and decided to send that video to Camila with a note that said "Daniel made it thinking of you" Camila when she saw the video was in love and called Daniel and told him "I want to see you at my house today at 7pm".

Daniel without knowing why accepted the invitation and arrived at Camila's house at 7pm very punctual. Camila opens the door, kisses him and says thank you, Daniel without knowing why but delighted with the kiss with Camila, says "we can talk about the two of us", Daniel told her everything he felt and so did she, both were in love from the beginning and had love at first sight but had never told her, it was that outing to McDonald's where both fell in love more and it was Daniel's song that made these two hearts fall in love forever, Finally Daniel sings the song to Camila and ends saying: and remember "they will never love you like I can".
